Infant Swimming Resource’s proprietary Self-Rescue® program is a 4-6 week course, scheduled 5 days per week, Monday through Friday, for 10 minutes each day.
With a focus on safe, customized, one-on-one lessons by Certified Instructors, we emphasize health, ongoing program evaluations and parent education to deliver the most effective and safest results in the industry. Children may begin lessons as young as 6 months of age.
Lessons for your 6 – 12 month old are focused on teaching your child to roll onto their back to float, rest and breathe, and to be able to maintain this life-saving position until help arrives.
Lessons for your older child focus on teaching the swim-float-swim sequence. Children learn to swim with their head down, roll onto their back, rest and breathe, and roll back over to resume swimming until they reach the edge of the pool, where they can either crawl out or wait until help arrives.
Once the children are fully skilled they will practice ISR’s survival techniques fully clothed during lessons. It is recommended that children complete refresher lessons to help their in-water skill level grow with their physical development.
Lesson Schedule
My lesson schedule is a little crazy- not even going to lie! I have been teaching in this area for (gulp) 11 years! Therefore, I have a lot of word of mouth referrals- and lots of repeat business- which is awesome! I tend to book VERY fast when my schedule is released. For this reason, it is VERY important for you to understand how the booking process works.
The only people who are able to reserve a time with me are those who have an active ISR registration. This means, you will need to pay the $105 registration fee (for new students) or the $35 refresher fee (for returning students) BEFORE you will be able to schedule a time to swim. This is so I can ensure all of the policies and procedures ISR requires are met BEFORE you get in the water with me.
Once you register your little one, you will be put on my “active” list. As lesson times become available, I will EMAIL or TEXT all active students at the information you specify in your registration. It is then up to you to have fast fingers to secure the time!
Please remember, we cannot swim when there is bad weather in the area. Of course, you don’t pay for lessons that are missed due to me cancelling for any reasons…however, many times parents get frustrated when they have scheduled 4pm lessons during summer months…and I cancel them to the safety protocols. I’m good…but I’m not good enough to control the weather…so please make sure you take everything into consideration before you book your lesson.

Pricing Information
There is a registration fee of $105 per child that is paid directly to ISR at the time of registration- this fee stands true for all ISR instructors.
ISR Instructors are independent contractors- therefore, we have the ability to charge different rates. Many times, these rates are based off of the instructor’s experience, location, level of certification and demand. My lesson fee, for lessons at the Cheval pool, is $110/week per child. This payment is due the Sunday before lessons begin. I would appreciate you pay through the PayPal link that is emailed to you.
You will be charged $220 when you choose your time on my schedule. This is a non refundable and non transferable fee that will be used towards your first and last week of lessons.
If you are wanting me to come to your location, the price above will change. If your pool is within 3-4 miles of the Cheval pool, the cost is $250/week. Prices increase from there depending on location. This is because I need to factor in my travel time and the fact that I can teach six children per hour when I’m in my pool. Always make sure we chat before you register your child to ensure the price and scheduling works for you!
If you have read the above information and fully understand the program and the scheduling, you’re ready to register! PLEASE UNDERSTAND- the $105 registration fee paid to ISR is NOT REFUNDABLE. So, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make sure you are 100% ready to commit to the process before you register. You are always able to call me to chat if you need/want more clarification!
Please send me a text to let me know you’re ready to register and I will send you my registration link. My cell phone number is 813.924.7500.
